Why We Love Jonathan Adler Lighting & Furniture Designs
Jonathan Adler lighting and furniture designs have a sort of highbrow humor and irony. They've got a youthful spirit, but the technique behind the design is quite mature and professional. His mid-century modern lighting style is colorful, kooky and contemporary and adds instant personality to a space. The line definitely has a happy, groovy factor going for it, which is so easy to love.
A Fun Fact About Jonathan Adler
In 2009, Jonathan Adler designed a real life Malibu Dream House for Barbie's 50th anniversary, giving Adler the chance to redeem himself after decapitating his sister's Barbie doll when he was a kid. Although Jonathan Adler lighting is designed by Adler, it is manufactured and distributed by Robert Abbey.
